This program aimed to develop innovative solutions for the Future Cities Future Communities initiative, aligned with NOVA SBE strategic vision for the future of smart cities. Through two bootcamps, students were equipped to generate new business ideas that tackled the program's specific goals. In the end of the program, we delivered a workshop with the Topic: “Pilots: Reducing risks and accelerating results” providing the program Partners, (Brisa, Schréder, Cascais Municipality, Primus Bank, SIBS, Grupo ACA and Zeiss) with the tools to collaborate effectively with Startups.

The two bootcamps successfully empowered 15 students to ideate and develop innovative business concepts that closely aligned with the program's ambitious goals. Over the course of more than 25 hours of workshops and personalized mentoring, participants gained invaluable insights into ecosystem thinking, cutting-edge innovation strategies, and practical tools for transforming ideas into actionable business solutions. These sessions not only fostered creativity but also equipped students with the skills and confidence needed to bring their concepts to life, ensuring they were prepared to tackle real-world challenges of Carbon Neutrality & Net Zero, Urban Living, Proximity & Community Journey Services, and Construction, Infrastructure & Architecture.
